The integration of Information Technology within our work is a crucial component of our design process. Today, we stay at the forefront of lighting design firms and continuously integrate new technologies into our work not only to deliver results, but also to create "magic".

Using the latest Intel® Xeon(tm) dual processor workstations equipped with dual displays, our designers work with Computer Aided Design (CAD), Desktop Content Creation (DCC) software, and graphics software, to deliver designs with the clarity, accuracy, consistency, and compatibility expected by our clients.

Complex electric and daylighting systems are modeled utilizing the latest calculation software to verify the qualitative and quantitative impact of our designs. All of our designs are stored on our fault-tolerant servers with over 2 Terabytes of storage, all data is backed up and stored off-site for disaster recovery purposes.

FMS is proud to offer professional-quality design presentations produced in house with our state of the art printers and plotters. Our communication capabilities, both internal and with clients, enterprise e-mail, mobile communications, and advanced IP or ISDN video conferencing capabilities including an overhead document camera and on-screen presentations.
